Plain, unrestricted copies of the reference datasets bundled with JustAte. No account, app installation or subscription is required.
These files contain public food references only, with no diary, profile or account information. Each dataset has its own licence. App restrictions on copying, modification, redistribution or reverse engineering do not restrict the rights granted by these data licences. The AFCD derivative is supplied under its FSANZ licence; unrelated application code is separate.
Choose references appropriate for the foods you eat. Nutrient values vary by preparation, recipe, brand and sample. This data is a reference, not a measured-accuracy claim or medical advice. Missing values remain unknown.

There are limitations associated with food composition databases. Food composition data used in the database or databases may represent an average of the nutrient content of a particular sample of foods and ingredients, determined at a particular time. The nutrient composition of foods and ingredients can vary substantially between batches and brands because of a number of factors, including changes in season, processing practices and ingredient source, and methods of calculation.
This work is based on Australian data. Australian data may not be appropriate for use in other countries.
Changes by JustAte: projected to seven nutrients; energy in kJ converted to kcal by dividing by 4.184; per-100-g source values retained; missing and qualified values identified; compact JSON encoding.
The AFCD-derived data asset is supplied under the FSANZ Data User Licence Agreement linked above. Unrelated application code is separately licensed. No FSANZ endorsement is implied.
